Intermediate in Science (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core course from a recognized Board/University.
A candidate under General Category for admission to the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry degree course shall have to qualify in each of the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of those subjects, at the qualifying examination and admission of students to B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree course shall made only on the basis of his or her merit in the competitive entrance examination and no other merit or weightage shall be considered for admission to Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Degree Course. In respect of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Casts or the Scheduled Tribes or other special category of students as specified by the Govt. time to time marks required for admission shall be 5% less than that prescribed for General Category i.e. 47.5% (VCI Gazette Notification, 2016) |
Applicant should be aged between 17 years and 25 years on or before the 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year of B.V.Sc. & A.H. course i.e. 31.12.2025.
There shall be a relaxation of maximum age by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class Candidates. |

Applicant should be aged between 17 years and 22 years on the 1st of July of the academic year in which the student seeks admission i.e. 01.07.2025.
There shall be a relaxation of maximum age by 5 years for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Class Candidates. |
